FAMILY-FRIENDLY LUXURY BY DISNEY WORLD FOR UNDER $150 PER NIGHT

It is no secret that a family trip to Disney World is expensive. There are a million articles out there about how to save money on a trip to Disney, like buying discounted theme park tickets, purchasing merchandise and “souvenirs” in advance, and finding places where kids eat free. But not everyone wants to sacrifice on quality and convenience just to save a few bucks on accommodations. This summer I found a place where you don’t have to sacrifice either. You also don’t have to give up on Disney theming and amenities. The B Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista provides that there are family-friendly luxury Disney World hotels under 150 per night. B Resort & Spa is located near Disney Springs, with a free shuttle to all four of the Disney theme parks and waterparks. More people enjoy watching a video rather than reading, it would be a good content idea to post it on visual platforms such as Youtube. To guarantee your success buy youtube subscribers.

B Resort Disney Review

As soon as you walk into the B Resort in Lake Buena Vista, you are struck with the cool, white elegance that still comes across as warm and welcoming with colourful touches like the $18,000 designer chair that has become an Instagram star for the hotel. Art lines the walls and casual conversation areas litter the public spaces. Yet despite this elegance, there are also family-friendly touches like the Disney store in the lobby and the giant chess board in the courtyard.

Accommodations

The B Resort offers up 394 newly-renovated guest rooms and suites, including some that are perfect for families. Usually a family suite means a bed and a pull out sofa, but the B Resort actually has a number of poolside suites that have a king-size bed and bunk beds for the kids. I mean how fun is that?? Larger families can request connecting rooms for even more space.

Kids are welcomed by Benson the Frog, which is part of B Resort’s corporate B Humane program. You can purchase Benson to take home and proceeds help raise awareness for endangered animals in the Orlando area for the Florida Wildlife Federation.

It may have been my exhaustion from visiting four theme parks in one day, but I slept peacefully in the B Resort’s Blissful Bed®. I enjoyed my views across Orlando from my window — if only we had gotten home early enough to spy some fireworks. In the bath, I was thankful for the spacious walk in shower, the stylish touches, and the Aveda bath products. Families (and bloggers!) also will appreciate the free WiFi available in the rooms.

Disney Perks

The B Resort & Spa offers guests a complimentary shuttle to all four Disney theme parks and water parks, which runs every 30 minutes. There are also free shuttles to the Disney Springs Resort. Hotel guests will get priority seating at Disney dinner shows and theme park restaurants, and preferred tee times at the Disney golf courses. You can also purchase theme park tickets at the hotel. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for those hidden Mickeys!

Amenities

We did not have time to enjoy the poolside bar, but the loungers around the pool looked oh so welcoming! There weren’t any special slides or lazy rivers, but the zero entry still made the pool family-friendly. Across the courtyard you can find the exercise room, spa, and giant chess board. There is even a Kid’s Corner, where kids and parents can hang out, play games, or watch movies in a comfortable and fun setting (note: this isn’t a drop-off kid’s club.)

I also found it really convenient to visit the small snack bar and general store in the morning before heading out to stock up on energy bars and water for my busy day.

Dining at the B Resort

American Kitchen Bar & Grill, the hotel’s main restaurant, serves up comfort fare that picky eaters and health-conscious parents can both agree on. The restaurant focuses on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, with herbs grown on-site. Breakfast is buffet-style and lunch and dinner feature new twists on old favourites like forest-mushroom mac and cheese and brown butter kitchen fries. I didn’t know quite what to make of the blueberry grilled cheese, but the fish tacos and burger were my personal favourites.

Under $150 per Night

To be honest with you, since I was staying at the B Resort as part of a press trip sponsored by Visit Florida and Visit Orlando, my stay was hosted so I didn’t have to worry about the price. But I did wonder, how much would it regularly cost? I was guessing around $250 per night or higher, based on the location and amenities. So I looked online and was shocked to find that the night we stayed there, rooms were available for just $99 per night! Seriously! I can’t stay at the suburban Courtyard by Marriott near my house for under $150 a night. I was shocked. I just checked again to see if this was a fluke and I see a number of dates where rates are under $150 per night and even once again under $100.

With these amenities, fun family suites, proximity to Disney, quality dining and great rates, B Resort & Spa should be on your shortlist for your next Disney trip.
