Ex Manchester United defender Gary Pallister advised Ralph Rangnick to ‘be an executor’ in order to succeed at Old Trafford. Rangnitzka was hired by Manchester United as the interim head of the club until the end of the season after the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the club’s defeat by Watford on November 20, 4-1. Michael Carrick he was appointed interim manager and led the club to a 2-0 victory over Villarreal in the Champions League, a 1-1 draw with Chelsea and an impressive 3-2 victory over Villarreal Arsenal on Thursday night.

Ralph Rangnick is considered the ‘father of gegegenpressing’ and is expected to implement a similar style of football at Old Trafford. Pallister advised Rangnick to take control of the locker room and “be a man” at Manchester United.

“I think so [Rangnick] he has to go in there and be a man, be an executor, and I’m sure he will be, and he will bring to the place the way he sees the game being played and I think everyone will know he’s the boss, “Pallister told Manchester Evening News.

Reports suggest that many Manchester United stars have lost faith in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s ability to bring the club to silver before the end of his reign at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils have shown signs of revival in recent weeks. Manchester United have secured qualifiers in the round of 16 of the Champions League thanks to a 2-0 win away to Villarreal last week.

The 20-time Premier League champions have also climbed to seventh in the Premier League table, just three points behind fourth-placed West Ham.
