Beyoncé reigns after breaking and setting Grammy records

Beyoncé entered the Grammys Sunday with nine nominations, the highest of all the artists of the night.

And oh what a night it was for her.

Queen Bey surpassed Alison Krauss, the bluegrass country singer, who previously held the record with 27.

But Beyoncé’s victory in the best performance in R & B for “Black Parade” put her in the lead.

She said she was overwhelmed when she broke the record.

“I’ve been working my whole life since I was nine and I can’t believe this has happened,” he said.
