A fan favorite in AEW Women’s Division, Big Swole, announced on Twitter that it would not renew its contract with AEW. Citing his personal journey dealing with “Shadow Work”. This is a process in which a person comes in contact with parts and thoughts of one’s mind that can be suppressed.
Big Swole said in a lengthy tweet that she communicated with AEW owner Tony Khan and other AEW officials when she made her decision. Pointing out that the decision not to sign the contract was “joint”.
“Over the past few months, my life has taken on the mantra of growing, learning and changing. Coping with working in the shadows required strength. I didn’t know I had,” she wrote. “I thank God for my loving family because they took me through some of the hardest months of my life. But I realized the real test was an application. So I set off even after talking to TK (Tony Khan) and senior AEW officials we are I decided not to renew my contract with All Elite Wrestling.This was a difficult decision but necessary.I am grateful for your understanding and what we could reach this agreement together.I enjoyed spending time with AEW and wish them all the best.I appreciate their love and welcome to the family.Today is my last day and as bitterly sweet as I am, I am proud to say that I lived my dreams while making a difference. Big Swole signed a contract with AEW in 2019 and leaves the company with 33-13 career wins / losses with All Elite Wrestling. She currently holds a 16-4 record with the company in 2021. After her AEW Women’s Championship match with then-Hikaru Shida at AEW’s Anniversary Special, which she lost, Big Swole was primarily featured at AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation.
The biggest quarrel of this company for the company was against the current AEW female champion Britt Baker. The quarrel would last during the summer of 2020, which eventually led to a confrontation between the two in the “Tooth and Nail” match. It was a recorded match held at Baker’s dental office during the AEW All Out pay-per-view in September.
The former AEW star is married to WWE superstar Cedric Alexander
It’s Big Swole married former WWE heavyweight champion Cedric Alexander. They are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Odessa. Although she and Alexander work for different companies, that doesn’t mean Big Swole hasn’t made it clear how WWE treats her husband.
Back in July of this year, Big Swole took over Twitter to express his displeasure that Cedric Alexander lost to Jackson Ryker on Monday night RAW.
