Edge will return ua SmackDown ring for the first time in 10 years on a Friday night. “Rated-R Superstar” will face off Jey Uso in next week’s show, and the winner will perform as a special guest in the Universal Championship Match program at WWE Fastlane.
The “ultimate opportunist” took his Twitter promotion site his upcoming match against Jey Uso and send your opponent a bitter message.
In the announcement, Edge claimed that his meeting would be his first match on “his” show, SmackDown. His last single match with the blue brand was on March 22, 2011, when he faced future WWE champion Drew McIntyre. Edge also warned Uso by telling him to “buckle up” for the rough road ahead.
Edge will be hoping this top will come out on top this Friday as he has invested heavily in the championship match between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. The winner of this clash will be Edge ‘s opponent at WrestleMania 37.
Edge is unhappy with Daniel Bryan’s interference
Although Edge is often referred to as the Extreme Opportunist, he seems dissatisfied with Daniel Bryan’s attempts to attract attention. He made it clear that he was not impressed by Bryan’s mission to put himself in the picture of the Universal Championship.
Last week on WWE SmackDown, Edge addressed Bryan’s actions and ended the exchange saying he was better than Yes! Man.
Edge was preparing to meet Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but Daniel Bryan’s championship match jeopardized that plan. The picture of the Universal Championship is now uncertain, as WWE Fastlane will designate Edge’s opponent for the Immortal Showcase.
