Pokemon GO has finally released all the details about this year’s Halloween event, and it could be a good opportunity to catch the great Spinarak.

Although it is not Spirit, Spinarak is actually a pretty suitable Pokemon to present in the Halloween season. In the Johto region, Spinarak could only be found at night.

This Pokemon evolves into Ariados, who second-generation fans can remember as the leader for Koga’s Elite Four team.

Generation II Pokemon has a great form released for the Halloween event

Among several other festivities, a group of Pokemon (Mostly Psychic, Spiritual and Dark) will have a higher attendance rate during Pokemon GO Halloween events. Spinarak will be part of this group, and his great form will be available.

Although Spinarak has been in the game for a long time, this is the first appearance of his great form.

The entire Halloween event will run from October 15, 2021 to October 31, 2021. However, this event will be divided into two parts. Shiny Spinarak will only be available during the first part, titled Creepy Companions, which focuses specifically on psychic and poisonous types. This lasts only until October 22, 2021, after which a new group of Pokemon will appear in the wild.

Other Pokemon to be found during part of the Creepy Compans event are as follows:

  • Halloween Mischief Pikachu
  • Tooth
  • Drowzee
  • Gastly
  • Misdreavus
  • Shuppet
  • Halloween Mischief Piplup
  • Stunky
  • Woobat
  • Gothita

Galar deceleration will also make its debut during this year’s Halloween event. This debut was teased when Galarian Slowbro was unveiled back in June, but the actual arrival date of the second Galarian Slowpoke has not been revealed yet.

In addition to the new Pokemon spawns, a new chapter of Research for the mischief season will be introduced. This research, titled Misunderstood Mischief, will allow players access to a special end-of-season event that appears to be somehow connected to Hoop.

Maybe they caught a lot of coaches Hoopa during a recent study called Hoopa’s Arrival. This end-of-season event could, however, give other trainers a chance to catch this mythical Pokemon.
