The announcement was cut off today on WWE Network social media and featured a video of Austin and Jericho being together on the set of Broken Skull Sessions.

Several WWE fans suspected such a surprise was in the works when a video was posted on social media yesterday on WWE Network showing a 24-hour countdown, reminiscent of the one that heralded Y2J’s 1999 Raw debut, but emblazoned with Austin’s signature skull symbol.

The message sparked speculation, sparking a wide range of theories about what this could all mean. More than a few discerning members of the WWE Universe noticed that the video was posted on April 1st, leading some to write it off as a April Fool’s Day gimmick. Those doubts were dispelled 24 hours later when a second video appeared showing Jericho on set with Austin.

What will the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll have to say in his highly anticipated interview for The Texas Rattlesnake? Don’t miss out when Jericho joins Austin in the historic Broken Skull Sessions on Sunday April 11th, exclusive live stream on site Peacock in the US and on the WWE network all over the place.
