WWE and The Ringer launch exclusive audio network

NEW YORK and STAMFORD, Connecticut, August 18, 2021 – The Ringer, Spotify Studio and WWE will launch an exclusive audio network as part of a multi-year audio content partnership announced today by the companies. As part of the deal, The Ringer and WWE will also collaborate to develop new original audio content exclusively for the Spotify platform and Call site… In addition, existing WWE audio programming, which offers a unique perspective on the WWE world both inside and outside the ring, will be available exclusively on Spotify.

Ringer will be expanding his existing coverage of the fight. The current channel for The Masked Man Show, hosted by David Shoemaker and Kaz, will be renamed The Ringer Wrestling Show and will continue with new programming from WWE personalities. Together, The Ringer and WWE will be working on a new original podcast series, including a series from WWE character Evan Mack, MackMania, and a story series created by Bill Simmons. Using Spotify Greenroom, the hosts will air after every major WWE pay-per-view event, and the final rooms will serve as podcasts for The Ringer Wrestling Show.

To kick off the partnership, The Ringer will be on-site in Las Vegas leading to WWE’s biggest event of 2021, SummerSlam, taking place this Saturday, August 21. This includes new episodes of The Ringer Wrestling Show with David Shoemaker and Evan Mac. his debut on Ringer and Spotify Greenroom Live Conversations. The MGM Grand will host a co-branded marketplace offering free Ringer / WWE SummerSlam products and photo opportunities for fans.

WWE has significant social reach with over 1 billion social media followers across all platforms. Following a return to the tournament tour in July, SummerSlam will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this Saturday, August 21, in the first annual event to be held at an NFL stadium. The event will air live at 8:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm PT exclusively on Peacock in the US and WWE in other countries.
