Over the last few years, Free Fire has witnessed phenomenal success and become a favorite fan in the Battle Royale mobile platform genre. Developer Garena brings periodic updates and adds new features and content to keep players riveted to the game.
Following the successful update of the OB26, which brought new firearms, redesigned range, weapon scales and more, the next update is expected to be unveiled in April. This article attempts to predict the date of its publication.
Expected release date of the Free Fire OB27 update
The previous few updates for Free Fire were released just a day before the end of the Clash Squad standings season. Following this form, it is expected that the Free Fire OB27 update could be released on April 14th. On the day of the update, the game servers will not run for several hours and users will not be able to play during that period.
This is just an estimated / expected date, and players can look forward to the official announcement a few days before the patch.
As usual, the OB27 update will be preceded by Advance Server, where players can test new features and in-game content before adding them to the global version.
Advance Server is a separate application, and users will need to register to receive an activation code, as it is limited to only a few applicants.
Leaks / rumors
According to the well-known Free Fire data miner Bart FF, the OB27 update could contain two new characters, also available on the previous Advance server. This is based on the two new load screens that leaked from it.
Players are pretty excited about the upcoming update and it would be fascinating to see what the developers bring to the table.
