There is a lot of speculation about when the Yae Miko banner will be released and what else is being prepared for Genshin Impact’s roadmap.
Interestingly, there seem to be several different publishers spreading various rumors when it comes to the release date of Yae Miko’s banner. The Chinese publisher, 呆呆 逸, was the first to confirm the Raiden Shogun model and stated that Yae Miko will not come out in Genshin Impact 2.2.
However, other publishers suggest that Yae could arrive in version 2.2. The official beta for version 2.2 has not yet been released, but Genshin Impact players can still speculate when the new characters will be able to play in the future.
The most important thing to remember is that every 21 days a new inscription with characters appears in Genshin Impact.
Guessing the date of the release of the Genshin Impact Yae Miko banner and other road map leaks
This is the most credible evidence for the suggestion that Yae Miko will come out after Kokomi. However, it’s just a tweet, so Genshin Impact players shouldn’t take it as a gospel. Nevertheless, there is no guarantee that this can be expected from Genshin Impact fans.
If the banner of version 2.2 is 21 days after Kokomi, it means that the players will receive a new banner on October 13, 2021. MiHoYo has confirmed that Genshin Impact 2.2 will happen on that date, because even then players can get Aloy if you are not on the PlayStation console, as shown below:
“Start of version 2.2 update (October 13, 2021 05:59 UTC + 8)”
Will Yae Miko be the next character after Kokomi?
There are no credible leaks to confirm this Yae Miko will come after Kokomi. However, it would make sense for a new playable character to appear on that date, as Genshin Impact seeks to promote new major updates with fancy new banners.
The restart of the Venti banner was first in version 1.4, so if the UBatch is correct with the units (and not necessarily with the order), it could mean Ganyu restarted will happen instead on that date. Several new 5-star characters have appeared recently, and there haven’t been too many reruns in the past.
However, this does not necessarily confirm that Yae Miko is the next 5-star character that can be played. If the old credible publisher, 呆呆 逸, said he wouldn’t appear in 2.2, it could mean another 5-star character would arrive instead.
Of course, a leak can always go wrong. Several have erred with data and facts in the past, and some have left the scene altogether.
Possible dates for banner placement
Genshin Impact has a banner every 21 days. If the banner with Yae Mike is not October 13, 2021, then it could be November 3, 2021. In the same official article about getting Aloy it is mentioned that Genshin Impact 2.3 begins on November 24, 2021, as seen below.
“Start of version 2.3 update (November 24, 2021, 5:59 AM UTC + 8)”
Dates are added up to be accurate. If Yae Miko does not come out in version 2.2, then November 24 is a pretty safe bet.
