Someone from B&H Photo Video has already listed the Nest Hub 2, Google’s next generation smart display. I know about the device, including the price.
The Hub 2 has a 7-inch display (1024 x 600) that comes with an ambient EQ sensor and a new color sensor that optimizes output based on lighting. Compared to the two mics on the predecessor, the device has an array of three mics, so you’ll hear better now. However, the sound output seems to have been downgraded, at least on paper. Manual radiator Nest Hub It bites the dirt and the main driver is a bit bigger at 43.5mm.
However, there are several new sensors on board, such as the temperature sensor and the Soli radar. The former should be useful for setting up your routine based on the ambient temperature (for example, if the temperature is above 80°F, turn on the air conditioner). Although the list doesn’t show Soli’s purpose Previous report It claimed it could have something to do with sleep tracking and motion detection.
You can expect some processing upgrades and other smart features, but they aren’t detailed in the B&H list. What we have is the price and color of the smart display available. Nest Audio, Nest Hub 2 is available in Chalk, Charcoal, Mist and Sand (no Sage). However, this is not all that the two devices have in common. If you can trust the list, I will share the price tag of $99. That’s much lower than the $150 cost of a traditional Nest Hub.
It’s not known when the device will be officially announced, but the list says preorders will start starting March 30th. So it wouldn’t be wrong to expect to receive news from Google about this soon.
