Investigators told CNN they are still trying to determine if the shots are connected.

Four deaths were related to Young’s Asian massage near Acworth, Georgia, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene and two more died at the hospital. One person was also injured, said Howard J. Baker, a spokesman for the Cherokee County Sheriff.

Authorities had responded to the scene to report a shooting.

Three people were found dead at the Gold Massage Spa on Piedmont Road in Atlanta, police chief Rodney Bryant said.

A dead person was also found at the Aroma Therapy Spa, just across the street.

Atlanta police had responded to the first spa to report a theft. While they were there, they received a call about gunfire at the second spa.

What is known about the victims?

Little is known about the Acworth victims.

In Atlanta, police said the four victims were Asian women. Bryant said it was too early to say what relationship they had with the spas.

Are there any suspects?

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office identified a suspect as Robert Aaron Long, 21, of Woodstock, Georgia.

Robert Aaron Long has been arrested in connection with the shooting in Acworth, Georgia, which left four dead on Tuesday.

Long was arrested in Crisp County, Georgia, around 8:30 p.m. ET. The county is about 150 miles south of Atlanta.

It is unknown if Long is connected to the shootings at the two Atlanta spas.

Neither Cherokee nor Atlanta County investigators described the motive for any of the shootings.

The two police forces talk to each other, but neither has confirmed that the shootings are related.

There is also no confirmation that the shootings were racially motivated.

CNN’s Jamiel Lynch contributed to this report.
