The key to a great smartphone is innovation. Whenever a device is released with a new feature, other OEMs are trying to keep up. OPPO’s goal has always been on the side of innovation. The company’s portfolio has grown extensively in recent years, and the best examples of strong innovations come from the OPPO Find X series.

You might know the original Find X with its sliding camera design, and the Find X2 Pro with its leather construction and 65W SuperVOOC charging. However, the Find X journey actually started almost 10 years ago. Are you ready to travel the path of innovation memory? You can also learn something new.

The new smartphone series won’t happen overnight. OPPO’s team devoted years of research to the desired innovation and ultimately launched the Find X903 in 2011, which marked its entry into the field of smartphones with side sliding keyboards.

OPPO took just one more year to launch the Find 3, removed the name “X” and got closer to the latest smartphone design. The unit combines a durable metal frame with stylish brushed stainless steel that doesn’t go out of style.

Find 5 followed Find 3 in 2013 and again skipped even numbers. It redefines OPPO’s already high standards with a new 1080p display and an incredibly thin 3.25mm bezel. It may seem big by today’s standards, but the Find 5 has won OPPO’s own iF design award.

In 2014, OPPO’s Find 7 was released, and Apple and Google launched the iPhone 6 and Nexus 6 respectively. Find 7 takes smartphone camera technology to a new level with a 50MP main shooter on the back. It also features a 5.5-inch QHD display and the first version of OPPO’s VOOC flash charging.

OPPO’s early Find installment helped set the stage when it reached 2018. After that, OPPO launched the Find X, which the company called the first panoramic design phone. It blends two glasses for the perfect experience, boasts a 6.4-inch display and an incredible 93.8% screen-to-body ratio.

But you will remember Find X for its innovative sliding design. Instead of using a powerful 3D stealth camera, I turned off the display in a notch or punch hole. With the push of a button, Find X’s camera is quietly in place.

The pop-up camera is now a design cloned from another brand, but the Find series is not yet complete.

OPPO has chosen a crisp QHD+AMOLED device to lead charging by 2020, highlighting refresh rates, color depth and HDR support. As if this wasn’t enough, OPPO wanted to see if the Find X2 Pro could continue to run at full power for hours. Combined with a large 4,260mAh battery and 65W SuperVOOC charging, you can get back to full power in 38 minutes.
