No matter how well we think we know our phones, there is always something or something else that can escape our attention. Don’t you believe me? If you have a Samsung phone, chances are you didn’t know that the Gallery app contains a hidden menu.

To be clear, this is not new and Samsung has released this since One UI 2.1. If you want to try it, it’s a bit simple to activate it. Go to Settings within the Gallery app and open it. Gallery information. Now tap the version number repeatedly until you see a toast like this: [Labs] Gallery Labs is enabled.. You can now find a non-secret menu in the app’s settings menu.

There are a number of features you can switch between here, but not all features are available on your device. The One UI version listed is the minimum version required for each feature to work. For example, what’s listed in One UI 2.5 will only work on phones running that version or higher. Some of these tweaks have already provided a stable experience, but there is still a lot to be addressed. You need to quit and restart the app in memory for the changes to take effect.
