Minecraft players can mark certain locations on their map that will serve as waypoints by cleverly using inscriptions that have different names and colors.

The worlds of Minecraft are truly vast and can span hundreds of blocks. That being said, it can be quite easy for players to accidentally get lost and get lost.

To prevent losing or tracking specific locations of interest, Minecraft players can mark different unique places on the map. This can be done by using a map on an inscription that was placed in the Aboveground.

The caption will then appear on the map when players look at it. By using multiple names and inscription colors, Minecraft players can more easily track all sorts of different locations.

This article describes how to create waypoints for specific locations in the Minecraft world that players can later refer to on their map.

To mark a waypoint on a map, Minecraft players will first need to grab at least one caption. Inscriptions can be made at the table for making a combination of six pieces of any color of wool with a stick.

Minecraft players should note that the inscription is a colored marker that will later appear on their map. Creating multiple labels of different colors can be a great way for players to track multiple locations on one map at the same time.

Once the caption is made, players can even change the caption name using it anvil. Players can name their banners however they wish. They can easily provide labels or names for their locations of interest.

As an example of how to use waypoints effectively, the map shown in the images in this article has two different points.

Players will see a red banner renamed “Portal” to mark the location of the giant destroyed portal and a green banner renamed “Secret Base” where the entrance to the underground lair is located.

To mark a waypoint on a map, all a Minecraft player needs to do is access a banner placed down the world and use the map on the banner. The name, color and location of that inscription will then be marked on the player map.

This is all. I hope this serves as a neat and useful trick for Minecraft players. After all, getting lost and not remembering where the cool things in the world are can be a really frustrating experience.
