Juventus interested in Paris Saint-Germain duo: Reports

After an irresistible season so far, Juventus they are preparing for the great summer ahead of us and have reportedly drawn attention to the two Paris Saint-Germain stars.

According to JuveFC, The Bianconeri are interested in PSG’s Moise Kean and Mauro Icardi. Interestingly, both players had a past with Juventus; while the Italian product of the Bianconeri Academy, the Argentine enjoyed a fierce rivalry with the Old Lady during his stay at Inter Milan.

Kean was allowed to leave Turin after the arrival of Maurizio Sarri at Juventus, despite being a regular member of the team under Massimiliano Allegri. The young man joined Everton in August 2019, and after a difficult first season, he was sent on loan to PSG. The Italian was brilliant in Paris and has already scored 15 goals from 27 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.

Mauro Icardi initially joined PSG on loan in 2019, and the deal was made permanently a year later. Icardi have so far managed 27 goals from 53 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants, and Juventus believe he is the ideal man to lead their line next season. Bianconera boss Fabio Paratici is a fan of the player and has previously tried unsuccessfully to sign him.

Juventus are also still interested in Kean’s return, but securing his signature will not be easy. The player himself might not be eager to return to the club that allowed him to leave at all.

PSG, meanwhile, is thrilled with the Italians ’performances and has big plans for him for the summer. Although his loan agreement is not available for purchase, the club’s sporting director Leonardo will try to secure a permanent transfer from Everton in the summer.

Interestingly, if the Ligue 1 giants manage to get Kean, it would open up an opportunity for the Bianconeri to secure Icardi’s services.

Juventus is currently third in the Serie A table, ten points behind leading Inter Milan. The Bianconeri also withdrew from the UEFA Champions League and their season hardly went according to plan. Despite the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the team, the Serie A giants proved to be short in attack, a fact that will bother Andrea Pirlo.

The Juventus manager remains eager to renew his attacking capabilities in the summer. However, while the move for Icardi has a good chance of being completed, it is increasingly likely that the Bianconeri will miss Kean.
