The LA Clippers emerged as the winners in their last match with 10 points, with the N21 All-Star candidate Kawhi Leonard bringing a cool 22 points.
The Dallas Mavericks have been in good form in recent weeks, but have struggled to cope after falling behind in the first quarter. Luka Dončić ended with an impressive triple-double, which didn’t prove enough as seven individual LA Clippers players scored double-digit numbers.
LA Clippers – Dallas Mavericks Combined Forecast – March 17, 2021
On paper, the LA Clippers look stronger, though Patrick Beverley’s recent injury means Reggie Jackson will jump in again. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have created incredible numbers in recent games, with a two-way impact of the former on the full show.
The LA Clippers have a trusted player on the bench at Lou Williams, who can come in and get regular buckets. Ivica Zubac jumped in for the last time for the injured Serge Ibaku. The center is expected to return to the starting lineup, although Zubac last jumped in with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Dallas Mavericks, on the other hand, relied on the offensive brilliance of Luka Doncic, who is set to be a big nominee for the 2021 NBA MVP award. Such as Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr. were also in good scoring contact, along with Jalen Brunson.
The Dallas Mavericks fought on the defensive end of the field and could see their problems continue for the second time in a row against the LA Clippers.
The Clippers themselves have been poor in recent games, which is essentially a mouth tie. The Dallas Mavericks will be the other favorites, although Luka Doncic will have other ideas.
LA Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks combined starting March 5-17, 2021
G Luka Doncic, G Paul George, F Kawhi Leonard, F Marcus Morris, C Kristaps Porzingis
Nothing comes to mind for Luka Dončić, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in this combined line-up, and it is expected that two of the three will be bona fide NBA MVP candidates.
Luka Dončić was simply magical, with his attacking scoring abilities and playing abilities fully displayed. He averages 28.1 points, 9.3 assists and 8.5 rebounds, and practically creates a triple-double in every game.
Paul George has missed a number of games this season due to injury but has looked close to his best in recent weeks.
In particular, Kawhi Leonard has led the LA Clippers to several wins individually and seems set this time for a serious title charge. Marcus Morris is moving into the combined lineup ahead of Maxi Kleber of the Dallas Mavericks, who is expected to start his fourth start of the season against the Mavericks.
Kleber has done well in recent weeks and has imposed himself as a starting striker in place of Nicolas Batum. Morris impressed from the bench to a great extent and averaged 11.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
He was constantly on the attack and scored 14 points and 6 rebounds in the final start against the Mavericks.
Central place will go to Kristaps Porzingis, who missed a series of games at the start of the season but was an offensive backbone in the Dallas Mavericks ’recent success.
Porzingis takes a place ahead of the injured Serge Ibaka and Ivica Zubic, who were impressive last time as well.
