Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp dismisses links with Germany coach’s job

In an interview with German legend Lothar Matthaus for Picture,, Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp dismissed rumors linking him to German national team coach job.

Current head coach Joachim Low has revealed he will be deviating from the role of selector of the German national team after Euro 2020 in summer.

Following the announcement, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has largely linked up with the soon-to-be vacant head coaching role.

However, Klopp has now come out to put an end to these speculations, revealing that he is completely focused on Liverpool.

Liverpool boss agent Marc Kosicke also backed his client’s claim, ruling out Anfield’s exit to allow the latter to take control of Germany.

In a detailed interview, Klopp was asked to shed light on rumors linking him to the role of Germany.

“I’m sorry about SportBuild, because we can’t simmer a little more.” But the most important thing is: I didn’t say I didn’t want to become a national coach, but that I CAN’T. That’s a huge difference, “said the Liverpool boss SportBild.

“There is a very clear commitment: I have an important role here in Liverpool. This is my sixth year at Liverpool and here I have built an amazing relationship with the people I work with on a daily basis. We rely on each other. ”

“Right now, at such a difficult stage, let me say for my part: Then I will no longer be there?” It will not work.

“I am full of energy, even when my friends send me text messages:” Are you okay? You look bad! ‘

“I just got old and I haven’t seen the sun in a year and I don’t sleep much.” That makes me look bad. And not because we have six defeats in the house in a row. I want to address this out there with the boys and girls working with me. ”

‘And there’s no way to say,’ Oh, national selectors, that would be an interesting job. ‘ It would be a great honor without discussion, but the moment is not right. I can’t. I’m very sorry if I let people down, but I can’t just get out of my responsibilities. “

Liverpool have suffered terrible spells since the turn of the year. They still haven’t won on the home turf in 2021 and have racked up six consecutive home defeats.

After six defeats in the last eight games, Liverpool snatched an impressive victory over RB Leipzig in the rematch of their clash in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

The goals of Mohamed Salah and Sadi Mane were enough to clothe the Bundesliga with a sword as Liverpool took a 2-0 lead.

This was quickly followed by a hard-won win against the Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League, while Liverpool picked up back-to-back wins for the first time since the end of January.

The Reds have now moved ahead of Everton to sixth in the table, two points behind West Ham United and five points behind Chelsea in fourth.
