Liverpool Transfer News Roundup: Reds identify Sadio Mane’s replacement, midfielder leaves for PSG, and more – 10th June 2021

Liverpool continue to be associated with several new players with an open transfer window in England.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at all the latest transfer news and rumors involving Liverpool from June 10, 2021.

Liverpool want to replace Sadie Mane with Jeremy Doku

It won’t be long before Liverpool try to replace Sadie Mane with a player similar to the players. Mane’s form last season was poor and the need to eventually replace him will be high on Liverpool’s agenda in the near future, if not this summer.

Reports show that Jeremy Doku is a player who will replace Sadi Mane in the future.

The Belgian was linked with a move to Liverpool last summer, but eventually signed for French club Rennes. The striker toured Anfield with a Liverpool representative, but the Reds did not sign him last summer.

Doku’s father revealed that they had talked to Jurgen Klopp, and the German manager said the Belgian could eventually replace Mane.

“[Jurgen Klopp] he explained to us that Jeremy could replace Sadi Mane in a few years, ”Doku’s father said.

Lazio in hopes of signing Xherdan Shaqiri

The Swiss international was on the edge of Liverpool’s first team and did not play very regularly.

Liverpool are expected to sell some of their players this summer to create room for new signings, and Shaqiri could be one of several players to be part of the exodus.

Reports in Italy claim that Lazio, led by Maurizio Sarri, is interested in signing the attacking midfielder this summer. Shaqiri made just 14 Premier League appearances last season, most of them off the bench.

Wijnaldum signs for PSG

Gini Wijnaldum has finally chosen his new club, and this surprises us because he decided to sign for PSG instead of Barcelona.

The Dutchman is connected with the transfer to Barcelona because the reunion with his compatriot Ronald Coeman is disputable. However, PSG went further and offered Wijnaldum a lucrative contract to secure his signature earlier today.

Wijnaldum has signed a three-year contract with PSG and is expected to be officially introduced as a PSG player after Euro 2020.

“Joining Paris Saint-Germain is a new challenge for me. I am joining one of the best teams in Europe and I am determined to bring my desire and my determination to this ambitious project,” Wijnaldum said.
