Man and 1-year-old injured in what police call road rage shooting on Houston’s northside

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A father and a much needed 1-year-old boy are OK after being shot in what police say is calling a road rage incident in northeast Houston.

The shooting took place on Sunday at about 7:30 pm

Police said a man driving south on I-45 and passing 610 entered into an altercation with another driver. At some point, the other driver of the man’s vehicle began to ball. In the shooting, a man has been shot many times and is 1 year old.

Officers said that the other children were in the car, but were not injured. The 1st-year-old man has been taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

When police continue to search for more clues, they said, a black and older model Nissan Rogue was driving eastbound on Peck Street versus Main Street.
