Mary Trump, former President Donald Trump’s niece, announced that she has joined the board of LPAC, an organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ + women candidates.
According to Politico, Trump said he was taking the step as a result of watching his uncle almost destroy democracy.

Politico explained that Trump worked with the organization before the 2016 election and was asked to join the LPAC to help recruit candidates and raise funds before the 2022 election.
“If only men make decisions about women’s issues or straight people make decisions about LGBTQ issues, then that’s where we’re having problems and we’ve seen it,” she said. Trump.
He became critical of his uncle and he was called to resign in an interview with ABC News in July of 2020.
“He is utterly incapable of leading this country and it is dangerous to allow him to do so,” Trump said.
