Australian versatile Glenn Maxwell has acknowledged that its availability for Pakistan tour he is not sure because he will probably get married at about the same time.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Monday that the Australians will be visiting Pakistan for the full series in March 2022. This will be the country’s first trip to that Asian nation since 1998.
Describing the development as great, Maxwell admitted he wasn’t sure if he would make it to the tour. Addressing reporters, he said:
“I think it’s great that we have a tour to get back there. I think I saw that it was 1998 when we last went there. Whether I’m going there or not probably depends on my fiancée because my wedding should be included for that time. So I’m probably not the right person to ask that question. “
Maxwell and pharmacist Vini Raman were engaged in March 2020. However, their wedding had to be postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Asked if there was any chance that the wedding date would be moved again, Maxwell answered with a resounding “no”. He explained:
“No way. We’ve already moved it a few times so I think that’s it.”
Australia will play three Tests, three ODIs and one T20I in Pakistan during their upcoming tour.

The 33-year-old is currently in the UAE as part of the Australian team for the 2020 T20 World Cup. The Australians will play against Pakistan in the second semifinal in Dubai on Thursday.
While Australia had an impressive tournament other than one bad game against England, Maxwell didn’t have much to do. He recorded scores of 18.5 and 6 in the first three matches, and in the last two games he was undefeated at zero.
Looking back on his performances so far at the T20 World Cup, Maxwell pointed out that the best hit very well, which is why he was not needed. stated:
“I’m not sure you noticed, but I have two consecutive cars, which is pretty rare in my career. That means the best ranking goes really well if I don’t spend so much time outside. I was in a really good space so I hope that (I didn’t ) needed again or I hope I will need another zero and not out and I will just stay on the other end. ”
