National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation announces official partnership with WWE

ARLINGTON, TX – The National Museum of Honor Medal Foundation (NMOHMF) announced today a formal multi-year partnership with WWE. Through the partnership, WWE will help the museum convincingly tell the heroic stories of holders of the country’s highest honor for valor in battle, the Medal of Honor, while supporting the shared mission of building a museum in Arlington, Texas, and the Washington, D.C. Monument, in recognition of the values ​​embodied in medal: courage and self-sacrifice, commitment and honesty, citizenship and patriotism.

The partnership kicks off today at the special WrestleMania On-Sale Party at AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys. Medal of Honor recipient and NMOHMF Board Member Major General Pat Brady (retired) will be honored by the WWE at the event. In addition, for every WrestleMania souvenir ticket issued at the party, $ 1 will go towards supporting the NMOHMF. The partnership will also air on WWE programming, including the WWE Tribute to the Troops special this Sunday, November 14, on FOX, where WWE will jointly celebrate the legendary Medal of Honor winner Woody Williams, the last living recipient from World War II. with NMOHMF.

Located in Arlington, Texas, the museum will pay tribute to the Medal of Honor and the fewer than 4,000 people who have earned our nation’s highest military honor, representing all branches of the U.S. military in every major conflict since the Civil War. State-of-the-art exhibitions and a dedicated leadership institute will allow Americans of all ages and from all walks of life to reflect on the values ​​that the medal embodies and the enormous influence of all US military personnel and veterans. The foundation of the museum is expected to be laid in early 2022.
