Rep. Adam Schiff Pressed on Whether He Would Consider CA Attorney General Role

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) Is being avoided if he is considering taking a job as California’s next attorney general.

People are pushing Schiff to take the position to be California’s next lawyer, as CNN’s Chris Cuomo reported in an interview Wednesday night.

When pressed if he was “considering” the job, ”Schiff replied,“ You know I’m not commenting. But I appreciate the question. “

However, he did not hold back from getting the job.

Schiff added, “I’m sure the governor will choose a worthy successor.”

“You know that’s not going to be enough on this show, Congressman,” Cuomo pushed. “I know you didn’t comment, but that means you’re not releasing it. Yes?”

Schiff doubled that he would not comment on it.

“By not giving feedback, you understand that that’s an opportunity to say,‘ I’m not going to do this, ’” Cuomo said.

Xavier Becerra, the California attorney, is expected to be confirmed by the Senate on Thursday to head the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Meron haka-haka who will replace Becerra if he is confirmed.
