Riot Games will look for changes in the way the Prestige system works league of legends 2021

The Prestige system requires players to complete exclusive event missions to earn Prestige points and unlock a very rare Prestige skin version for their favorite League of Legends champion.

League of Legends product manager Ken Adams recently crossed some of new additions which developers will add to the list of Skin Prestige Editions that are already in play.

Ken said in a blog post:

Last November, we have announced that we will overhaul rare and exclusive content systems, including Prestige, in 2021. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to meet our originally announced timeline, but we still aim to release this update later in the year. This means that your Prestige points will be used on even more skins, so we have expanded the list of champions who receive it. “

Adams went on to mention the champions who will get the Prestige Edition leather in 2021.

Prestige skins for 2021:

  • The lunar beast of Fiora
  • Space Groove Lulu (published in patch 11.7)
  • Sylas
  • Pantheon

Skins of Prestige Point 2021:

  • Battle Academia Leona (published in patch 11.6)
  • Conqueror Jax
  • Zed (for previously published skin)

What is the Prestige system in League of Legends?

League of Legends programmer Carlos “IAMCARLOS” Giffoni described Prestige skins as follows:

“Prestige skins are taking existing leather and adding rarity and desirability through more expensive materials (and often radiant!) In model and VFX, as well as ways you can get leather.”

To get their hands on the Prestige Edition skin, league of legends players will first need to complete missions throughout the year to earn points. Then I can cash them in until the end of the season.

This system has often been criticized by league of legends community, and Riot’s willingness to make minor repairs is a welcome move.
