‘Science Is Back’: Biden Appears To Take Swipe at Trump During Visit To CDC

President Joe Biden appeared to take a swipe at the former President Donald Trump on his first visit to the headquarters of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since taking office.

“Science is back. Everyone joking, think about it. For the longest time, not only has it been associated with the CDC, but science … science has been used as sort of an appendage to anything we’re talking about but it comes back, ”Biden said Friday.

He added, “The public thanks you because it is about science. That’s what they understand. They understand. And we will not go back to the old days, even tomorrow the whole administration will change. I think you changed things. You changed them in a way that would make everyone healthier in this country. ”

Biden suggested that the CDC is “ready to address” a crisis because “you speak truth and science to power.”

In a phone call interview Tuesday night on Fox News, Trump advised Americans to get vaccinated, as Reported by IJR.

“I recommend it, and I recommend it to a lot of people who don’t want to get it, and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly,” Trump said.

He added, “But, you know, again, we have freedoms, and we have to live there, and I agree with that, too.”
