SummerSlam will go live in theaters for the first time

WWE and Iconic Events have teamed up to debut SummerSlam in theaters nationwide on Saturday, August 21.

WWE and Iconic Events Releasing today announced a new partnership that will bring SummerSlam, WWE’s largest event of 2021, to theaters nationwide for the first time. The event will be streamed live on Saturday, Aug 21 at 8:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm PT and will be one of the first sports events to be held at full capacity at Allegiant Stadium and will host the arena for the first time NFL.

“Iconic Events Releasing is proud to partner with WWE to promote its incredible brand in theaters from coast to coast,” said Iconic CEO Steve Bannell. “SummerSlam is a massive event that requires to be seen on the big screen with big sound in a hall full of excited fans.”

Iconic Events offers in-theater entertainment of all types, live and video in the form of special limited-attendance events so fans can get together to watch their favorite films on the big screen. The program includes live streams of pay-per-view sports, music and comedy episodes, comedy performances, award-winning TV episodes, Broadway productions, exciting holiday specials, family events, live album releases, rock concerts, and music documents that celebrate diversity.
