Suspect In Rhome Car Crash That Killed A 5-Year-Old Child Arrested After Fleeing

RHOME, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Four law enforcement agencies were able to track down a man suspected of causing a fatal car crash, which left one child dead and the other injured.
Rhone Police said early Sunday morning, a Texas DPS trooper saw Christopher Fowler, 18, of Northlake, beating on the left side of the road on 287.

Fowler was worried that the accident would cause the trooper to stop the crash and attempt to drive parallel to it.
Despite the heroic effort, the superintendent was unable to do so at this time, and Fwler was engaged in another vehicle attack by two boys, aged 5 and 14.

The 5-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The 14-year-old was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital.
Fowler then fled the scene, enforcement officers during the manhunt. DPS, Sage County, Rhome Police and Texas Ranger wanted to track down the case and arrest him.
Fowler was accused of one count of homicide and one count of personal injury or death.
