Best Garmin Watch Faces

What to look for in the best Garmin watch faces

There are many (I mean swallow) Garmin watch faces to choose from thanks to Garmin’s Connect IQ SDK and open watch face APIs. This allows anyone with some coding knowledge to create their own Garmin watch faces. So you have a lot to choose from, from digital to analog, from data-heavy to simple.

Not everyone has to scroll through the widgets on the clock to see how many steps they have taken. If you value seeing your data front and center, we recommend downloading a watch face with customizable data fields. If you want to make your watch look neat and professional, we recommend downloading analog watch faces or watch faces that focus on time rather than data.

Finally, you need to know how much you’re willing to pay for a Garmin watch face. Many watch faces on Connect IQ are made by third-party developers, so you will face paywalls, suggested donations, or completely free options. Some developers can download the watch face as a trial version, and you have to pay after up to 24 hours. If you want the best Garmin watch faces, you will have to spend a few bucks on developer work.

memo: Not all watch faces on this list are compatible with all Garmin devices. Check the list of apps on Connect IQ before installing on your device.

Enduro (PlayItLoud)

price: $1.99

NS Garmin Enduro It’s an expensive kit, but it’s one of the best looking stocks of Garmin watch faces Garmin has put out in a long time. You can save some cash by downloading a custom Enduro-themed watch face from developer PlayItLoud.

The Enduro watch face is my personal favorite and has been the heart of my watch. Phoenix 6 Pro since release. Why is Enduro Face good? First, it replicates the clean, data-filled look of the stock Enduro face. Eight different sections show data such as steps, distance, and weather. The two dividers can double as a pedometer, battery gauge, moving bar and more. You can also add custom text to the top or bottom of your face, and swap out the bottom three data slots for a detailed view of heart rate, pressure, altitude, sensor temperature or step count graphs.

Enduro faces are free to download, but you will have to pay for them in the end. $1.99 You can access it. Don’t like PlayItLoud’s Enduro face? We are also big fans of dev. sky tracker watch face.

Best Garmin Watch Faces for Data Enthusiasts

Data Lover is a classic Garmin watch face compatible with most Garmin watches. It is popular for several reasons. First, it’s completely free. However, if you choose to donate to the developer, the intermittent donation encouragement notifications will disappear and the weather field will be updated more frequently.

For the watch face itself, Data Lover displays time, date, weather, battery percentage, active heart rate data, sunrise/sunset data, status icons, stair/stair history and more. It also displays its own Move Circles system, which recommends moving every hour. If I have one complaint, the watch face is not the most beautiful. After all, it’s difficult to hold a lot of data while leaving room for a sleek design. If you’re looking for clothes to wear to the office, Data Lover might not be your first choice. But if you want all your stats to always be front and center, there’s nothing better than a Garmin watch face.

SHN watch faces (SHN EDO, SHN Tactical, SHN Active, etc.)

price: Free / Pay only what you want to unlock pro features.

Developer SHN offers a variety of attractive and customizable Garmin watch faces. There are many to choose from, but my favorites are SHN EDO, SHN Tactical and SHN Active. SHN’s watch faces offer a mix of data-heavy layouts and stylish designs. You’ll find stylish tech watch faces and rugged analog faces. There’s even a watch face that tracks your habits if you’re having trouble keeping your midday cup of coffee away.

SHN’s watch faces are all free. By paying the developer a few bucks through PayPal, you get extra pro features like more graphs and data sections.

VAW.BE watch faces (Edge, Complete, Big, etc.)

price: $1.49 (+VAT) / Watch Face Bundle up to $6.99

VAW. BE’s watch faces are customizable, pretty and come in a variety of styles. There are watch-centric watch faces that emphasize time, data-packed options that want to show you as much as possible on a single screen, and artistic watch faces featuring geometric or nature-themed backgrounds. Our favorites are Edge, Complete, Big and Flora.

VAW.BE watch faces are $1.49 each. you can also pay watch face bundle If you want to download a floral watch face, a watch face with lots of stats, or a time-focused watch face all. You also have the option to use all of the developer’s watch faces for $6.99, an overall savings of 82%.

Another paid watch face from developer Lignite, Colorboard offers tons of customization options. You can change the background color scheme, customize all data fields, and add a call notification indicator to each style. There is also an always-on display option. Garmin watches tout AMOLED, not all Garmin watch faces offer this.

The PokeWatch watch face might be the coolest watch face on this list. First, it’s completely free, so that’s a big win. PokeWatch lets you relive the magic of the first Pokémon game for the Game Boy on your Garmin watch face.

You can choose from 5 Pokémon to fight for you: Pikachu, Squirtle, Flareon, Mew, and Mewtwo. Your Pokémon’s opponents will grow stronger as you progress towards your daily step goal. At the start of the day, Pikachu can fight Squirtle. But in the end you will face Blastoise.

Also, the battery level of the watch is indicated by the Pokémon’s HP. You can also give your Pokemon a custom nickname, just like in Game Boy games.

Oh, and it shows the time and date at the top because it’s an important feature of the watch face.

RStudio watch faces (Infocal, Infograph and Casio 3000)

price: Free / Optional Donation

Developer RStudio only has four Garmin watch faces in their lineup, but all are clean, customizable and free.

The first watch face that pops out of us is the Infocal, which essentially mimics the sleek red and black watch face of the Garmin Fenix 6 Pro. All data around the edges of the watch face can be customized. You can also change the watch style to give it a completely different look while keeping data all the way to the edge of the screen. It’s a definite upgrade to the Fenix 6’s watch face.

The Infograph is one of the most stylish analog Garmin watch faces we can find. It provides a lot of data in the front and center while keeping most of the watch face clean and minimal.

Finally, RStudio’s Casio 3000 brings the classic digital watch feel to your garmin watch. You can change all data fields on the screen and choose from different color themes.

Honorable Mention

This is our list of the best Garmin watch faces. We would also like to mention the following:

  • Stock Garmin watch faces: There’s a reason many people use the default watch faces that come with Garmin devices. First, each Garmin watch comes with a handful of exclusive Garmin watch faces you wouldn’t normally find on the Connect IQ store. Some of these watch faces may provide unique data that other watch faces cannot. E.g, Garmin Venu 2 Stock watch faces allow you to choose. body battery Metrics for certain fields are displayed, but the face of third-party developers has not yet implemented that feature.
