Trainers will have to search National Pokedex to find an abundance of ice-type Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Once that is done, a few Types of ice located in the main Sinnoh Pokedex have become some of the most popular and powerful Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Not every Ice Pokemon can be considered one of the best in these Generation IV remakes. Only a few of them truly embody the power that icy species bring to the table.

Top 5 Pokemon Ice Types in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Every Eeveelution has proven to be a solid Pokemon at this point. With Eevee near Ice Rock on Route 217, players can thrive and evolve into Glaceon. That gives them a wild 130 special attack and 110 defense. His other statistics, however, are not so great.

4) Abomasnow

Abomasnow is an ice-type beast pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, there is one mistake, and a big one. With a double knock on the grass, that’s four times weaker to fiery type attacks.

His basic statistics are pretty balanced, but no wonder. It is a unique creature that is fun to use in battle.

3) Lapras

Lapras is one of the original Pokemon from the Kanto region. As a type of water / ice, many use it to treat support and chip damage. That’s because it comes with a base of 130 hp.

Her defense and special defense are not terrible either. Coaches can meet him while surfing in the Victory Road National Dex area.

2) Weavile

Weavile is incredibly fast and has a high attack. His base speed is 125, while his base attack is 120. As a Dark / Ice type, however, it comes with five regular weaknesses and 4x weaknesses for Combat type attacks. That is the only flaw that prevents him from being in the first place.

1) Mamoswine

Coaches can find Swinuba in the Great Underground Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. They can then equate it to evolve into Piloswine, who then evolves into Mamoswine while possessing Ancient Power in his set of movements. Mamoswine’s stats are wonderful with 110 base HP and 130 base attacks.
