UFC 262 confirmed to be hosted at the Toyota Center in Houston with live fans in attendance

The UFC has officially announced the location for UFC 262 pay-per-view. Map with title Michael Chandler i Charles Oliveira, UFC 262 will host the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

By going on Twitter, the UFC has officially confirmed the upcoming vacant lightweight title fight between Chander and Oliveira. Following the departure of Khabib Nurmagomedov for official confirmation by Dan White, his promotion decided to book two of the absolute best in the lightweight category in the vacant fight for the lightweight title.

UFC 262 is already shaping up as a huge pay-per-view card. The event will mark the coronation of the new UFC lightweight champion for the first time since 2018, now that Khabib has officially confirmed he will not return to the sport.

The rest of May 15 at PPV will feature other exciting fights, including another showdown with the best lightweight contender between former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and Beneil Dariusz.

UFC 262 also includes Katlyn Chookagian vs. Viviane Araujo, Antonina Shevchenko vs. Andree Lee and Edson Barboza vs. Shane Burgos, in a fight that could potentially be Fight of the Night.

The UFC will bring fans back to the arena for Kamara Usman and Jorge Masvidal II

The upcoming UFC 261 pay-per-view will present the return of UFC fans for the first time since the start of the pandemic. PPV will lead Kamara Usman defending the UFC light heavyweight title from Jorge Masvidal in a rematch with UFC 251.

The same PPV includes Zhang Weili defending her UFC straw title against Rose Namajunas. While Valentina Shevchenko will defend the UFC men’s title in the men’s category against Jessica Andrada, who could be the toughest test for ‘Bullet’ to date.

UFC 262 will also be hosted in front of a live audience in Houston, and according to the main PPV event, Michael Chandler will hope to make history by winning the lightweight title fight in just his second promotional fight. But Oliveira himself was in a huge race and it will be a tough challenge for ‘Iron’.
