WALTER’s reign continues with brutal win over Tommaso Ciampa

WALTER continued his record reign as NXT United Kingdom champion, defeating Tommaso Champa in one of the most devastating matches in NXT history.

WALTER wanted to punish Black Heart early on by revealing his trademark skills. However, when he miraculously pierced the bulletin board, WALTER injured his right arm. Not only did this distract the NXT UK champion from the game, it was an injury that Champa took advantage of throughout the competition.

The general in the ring continued to hurt his opponent during the match. The resilient Champa fought back and nearly killed the longtime title holder with a Fairy Tale ending, knocking WALTER off the ropes, forcing him to collapse to the canvas.

With every passing moment, the Superstars fought back and forth, both trying their best. In the final moments, after knocking out a couple of devastating Powerbombs, Champa finally fell in front of a WALTER German Suplex-chop combo.
