Watch: Jake Paul appears to drag fire truck in latest training video for Ben Askren fight

Jake Paul filmed a video of him apparently pulling a fire truck as part of a training session in front his boxing sword against former UFC welterweight Ben Askren.

The Internet celebrity who turned into a professional boxer will enter the ring on April 17 in the long-awaited match against Askren, who was previously an American Olympic team and MMA champion in his career.

In the video, posted to his Twitter account, Jake Paul is linked to a fire truck, which he is allegedly towing on the street. YouTuber has also promised to knock out Askren in the first round.

“I’m literally a tow truck. Ben Askren is currently eating Oreos. April 17. Knockout in one lap,” wrote Jake Paul.

After Askren gave up on his Olympic dream, he became an MMA welterweight champion in two fighting organizations at the ONE Championship and Bellator before joining the UFC.

However, ‘Funky’ did not enjoy the same success as it had before in the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion, losing two of its three fights there.

Jake Paul, on the other hand, is an actor and internet personality who decided to start boxing a few years ago. He started his professional career in sports against a YouTube colleague, AnEsonGiba.

Jake Paul’s second fight forced him to beat former NBA star Nate Robinson in 2019 by a violent knockout in the bottom of Mike Tyson against Roy Jones Jr..

YouTube then decided to embark on larger flights, challenging MMA fighters like Dillon Danis, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

However, Ben Askren finally accepted the invitation. Although ‘Funky’ has a respected and successful trajectory as a mixed martial artist, martial arts fans have never praised him for his boxing abilities.

Many fighters, fans and analysts believe that Jake Paul could shock the world and defeat Askren, who has competed in professional wrestling for most of his career.
