The upcoming episode of RAW is a show for the houses of Fastlane 2021. While pay-per-view has been largely criticized for lack of depth or workmanship, we’ll probably get a few extras at the last minute of the event tonight on RAW.
After that, there will be only three episodes of RAW left on the way to WrestleMania. It’s finally retreating, and things are starting to heat up on RAW. There are two main title matches being advertised, and a lot more is happening in the Show of Shows upgrade.
Let’s head straight to the surprises for this week’s episode of RAW on Monday night:
# 5. What is the fate of Randy Orton at RAW this week?
It seems that in 2021, three things are certain – death, taxes and Randy Orton suffers from RAW. Ever since he set fire to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at TLC 2020, he’s been haunted Alexa Bliss, and now, a seemingly shadow Bray Wyatt.
Randy Orton mentioned a few weeks ago that failure is not something he has experienced much, but it has been on his way for some time. He is not convinced of Bray Wyatt’s return, but he is tormented by Alexa Bliss – week after week on RAW.
Last week, Randy Orton and AJ Styles had a major event match at RAW, and as usual, Alexa Bliss announced her presence. She didn’t actually “play with fire” as much as she blew a match.
That, however, led to three of the four rings shooting into the fire, distracting and stunning Randy Orton. AJ Styles took advantage when the black liquid came out of Randy Orton’s mouth and finished him off with Phenomenal Forearm to finish RAW.
AJ Styles have greatly improved Randy Orton in their encounters since 2017, but this one was different. 19-year veteran Randy Orton will be keen to return to RAW, but since WrestleMania is only a few weeks away, we could see a big change from him.
Whether this will lead to a different look or not, we are not sure. But that could greatly change his character on RAW.
