Ikemen Jiro def. Andre Chase
Ikemen Jiro continues to take 205 Live by storm, receiving an inspiring welcome from the WWE Universe as he popped into the ring to face Andre Chase, who defeated Guru Raaj in his only previous match at the purple brand.
Dressed from bell to bell in a bright yellow jacket, Jiro early and often frustrated his opponent with his eccentric fighting style, but Chase took control when he trapped Jiro in the ring and brought his right arms down on him.
Jiro, who was defeated at 205 Live for the first time last week when he clashed with Grayson Waller, escaped Chase’s harrowing STF and got back on track, leveling his foe with Asai’s moon assault.
Moments later, Jiro ripped off Chase’s super-complex attempt with several right hands and tattooed his foot across his nose to seal the victory.
Joe Gacy def. Grayson Waller
Joe Gacy has definitely taken advantage of the new 205 Live policy of allowing everyone to compete – whether or not they overshadow the 205 pound weight limit – as the tough brawler made his third appearance on the purple brand and earned his second win by beating Grayson. Waller.
As always, Braggadosios, Waller grinned into the camera as he got the upper hand with a few hard punches and then let go of his elbow off the middle rope.
With screams of “3-0-5” emanating from the Capitol Wrestling Center, Gacy rolled Waller in the corner and tossed him around the ring with a belly-to-belly-overhead suplex.
And after dodging the heavily attacking Waller, Gacy stabbed him in the chest with a pump and then used a devastating clothesline for 1-2-3.
