This is a monumental NXT UK edition as two major titles are played out: Meiko Satamura defends her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Xia Brookside, and Ilya Dragunov faces off against Rampage Brown in the NXT UK Championship.
All respect has been thrown out the window as Brown tries to get through Dragonuv to qualify for the NXT UK Championship. Brown no doubt still remembers that it was the Tsar who beat him in the decisive Triple Threat match in June of this year, which ultimately led Dragonuv to dethrone the dominant WALTER for the title.
Dragonow was on top of his successful first title defense against A-Kid, but Brown quickly expressed his intentions with a thunder-rope to the champion to stage what was sure to be a tough fight.
In another massive confrontation, Brookside gets his match with the Final Boss after storming Sid Rock’s office to claim an opportunity against Satomura, which Rock has reluctantly made official.
Brookside has brought a whole new attitude to NXT UK over the past few weeks, but she will need more than her big ego and her father’s threats to challenge the NXT UK Women’s Champion. Satomura has had a formidable reign since toppling Eternal Champion Kay Lee Rae by defeating the likes of Amal, Stevie Turner and Ginny.
In addition, Saxon Huxley hopes to crush Kenny Williams for his actions after Dregs from Earth slipped out of Huxley’s hands with less than noble tactics.
