Jones, Baxter, Gacy, and Briggs all competed in the recent NXT Breakout Tournament, and they will all continue to try to assert themselves in what should be a titanic celebration.
Briggs and Gacy are an interesting tandem as the two heavyweights recently split a pair of 205 Live slugfests, each winning one at a time. Perhaps they began to respect each other after tough battles, and now they will try their hand as a united team against Jones and Baxter.
Jones made it to the final of the Breakout Tournament with impressive results before being beaten by Carmelo Hayes, but he will try to get back on track with an intriguing partnership with Baxter.
And speaking of superstars looking to assert themselves, Feroz and Cortez will aim for a critical win when they agree. They’ve each played in several notable matches on the NXT, but both are taking their first look at the purple brand.
