Bobby Lashley, def. Riddle
After a backstage skirmish, WWE champion Bobby Lashley went to teach The Original Bro, following vastly different WrestleMania results for the two superstars. Riddle knew he would have to go big to defeat Almighty, but the missing Floating Bro opened the door for the Hurt Lock finale.
Viking raiders def. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin
The shocking return of The Viking Raiders shook Raw to its core and blew Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in the process. Eric and Ivar showed no sign of ring rust as the giant duo fought off an early attack to team up for the Viking Experience to claim the claimed victory.
Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka Ends Without Contest – Raw Women’s Title Match
After changing the landscape of WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair returned in triumph to catch the attention of Rhea Ripley and Asuka. Nightmare walked in, ready to support her victory in the Women’s Raw Championship the night before, but the Empress of Tomorrow seemed to make her mark at the right time. It turns out that this was just the right time for the queen to destroy both rivals.
Meese and John Morrison def. Damian Priest – 2v1 Handicap Match
After A-List “Miz TV” with special guest Maryse, The Miz and John Morrison were once again targeted by The Archer of Infamy. When Bad Bunny returned to tour, Damian Priest single-handedly went against Miz and Morrison and controlled part of the match. When Priest immediately ripped off Miz’s pants, Maryse was distracted and her husband was able to sneak in to win secretly.
Nia Jax and Shaina Basler def. Mandy Rose and Dana Brook Countdown
Despite Mandy Rose’s slippage at WrestleMania, Goddess and Dana Brook tried to converge and run against Nia Jax and Shaina Basler. In WWE ThunderDome on the University of South Florida campus, it was The Irresistible Force that was unable to find a foothold. After a couple of awkward falls, an enraged Jax set her sights on Rose, but Rose and Brooke decided that it was best not to tempt fate, and safely climbed the ramp, losing count.
New day def. Elias and Jackson Riker
The New Day focused their post-WrestleMania frustrations with the Elias & Jaxson Ryker. Xavier Woods was quickly met with a series of aggression, but Kofi Kingston’s tag included “The Power of Positivity.” Woods struck a double blow to the heart of Elias, and The New Day got themselves back on track.
Drew McIntyre, def. Randy Orton and Brown Strowman in Triple Threat match for WWE title opportunity at WrestleMania Backlash
When MVP gave the Almighty championship keynote speech, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Brown Strowman all attempted to make their case for the WWE title. WWE spokesman Adam Pierce preferred them to compete in the ring. The Strawman Express was halted by steel steps, but the Serpent smashed McIntyre across the notice table for a carnage. Orton seemed ready to seize the post-RCO moment to Strawman, but McIntyre walked in with Claymore to pin the Legendary Assassin and set up another meeting with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash. As McIntyre celebrated, the MVP showed up, and the double choke blow from T-BAR & MACE to McIntyre left the WWE Universe with a lot of questions.
