After Charlotte Fleur lost her match against Nikki Cross earlier that night, Raw Women’s Champion Ray Ripley defeated Asuka, trapped in WWE Hell in a Cell. However, Nightmare subsequently found himself in an absolutely chaotic post-match fight with the Queen.

When AJ Styles’ personal colossus Omos intervened in Drew McIntyre’s versus Phenomenal match, WWE champion Bobby Lashley and The Viking Raiders approached the ring to get to know each other better.
McIntyre defeated Almighty and sent the WWE champion out of the ring. Moments later, Lashley burst into the fray and retaliated to end the fight. In response, The Viking Raiders stepped over the ropes and sent the title holder out of the ring. As a result, WWE officials decided to resume the action as a six-person team match.
