WWE Champion Big E & Raw Tag Team Champion Riddle vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos Ended Without Contest
The night kicked off with Kevin Owens explaining his brutal attack on Big E last week, but before the two could fight, Uso stepped onto the stage to launch his attack on the WWE champion. Big E unexpectedly found an ally in Riddle, who rushed into the ring to equalize the champion’s chances, leading to this impromptu team match.
Shortly before the match turned into chaos, Seth Rollins, watching from the announcement table, entered with Big Y at the ring before rudely intervening in the attack on Riddle. In the midst of the chaos, Randy Orton emerged and knocked Jay Uso down with RKO, leading to another impromptu match.
Seth Rollins and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos def. WWE Big E and Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro
The champions joined forces as Big E and RK-Bro took on Seth Rollins and Uso. With a quick turnaround, Rollins was able to defeat Riddle for his team, prompting an angry Randy Orton to inflict another RKO on Jay Uso.
However, the damage was not entirely done to Jay, as Big Yi also took the opportunity to send a message to Roman Raines in front of the streak of survivors, dropping Uso with the massive Big End.
Bianca Belair def. Tamina
Initially thinking that she would fight head-to-head with Doodrop, Bianca Belair faced difficulties as she fought Tamina instead. The WWE ESTs fought hard and came out victorious after pairing up with an incredible KOD, sparking the ire of Doodrop, who stepped out after the fight to warn Belair that she would be fixated on settling scores with her after Survivor Series.
Liv Morgan vs. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch
Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch spoke a few warm words to her Survivor Series rival, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, before turning her attention to her next challenger, Liv Morgan. Big Time Becks showed Morgan some footage from an episode of Talking Smack, in which Morgan remembered how Lynch once supported her when Lynch was leaving to become a mother. The Raw Women’s Champion went on to explain how wrong she really was, prompting Morgan to fend off her and remind Big Time Becks that she was coming for her title.
Street profit def. Alpha Academy
Montes Ford and Angelo Dawkins wanted smoke, and they got it from Otis and Chad Gable of Alpha Academy. The thrilling team fight ended when Ford parried Gable’s high cross body attempt and rolled over to earn a decisive victory for The Street Profits.
Queen Zelena def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Nikki ASH
After being insulted by Raw’s Survivor Series, WWE Women’s Champion Nikki Ash decided to take on Queen Zelena. Under the supervision of Rhea Ripley and Carmella, Zelena prevailed by hitting “Almost a Superhero” with a red code after Carmella was distracted.
After the match, Nightmare was quick to invite the self-proclaimed “Most Beautiful Woman in All WWE” to the ring for the next fight.
WWE Women’s Champion Ray Ripley won. Carmella
Face Defender was unable to save Carmella in this case as Rhea Ripley quickly headbutted and delivered Riptide to overcome the competition. As Ripley and Nikki ASH celebrated their victory, Queen Zelena once again nudged the champions in the face that Nearly Superhero would still have to sit and watch from home this Sunday at Survivor Series.
Kevin Owens, defense. Finn Balor
Two members of Raw’s Survivor Series ignored this when Kevin Owens gave up his hostility towards WWE Champion Big E to take on Finn Balor. After a hotly contested match, Owens ended his losing streak and took the victory, hitting Prince with a crushing stunner.
AJ Styles and Omos def. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Rood
A.J. Styles and his personal colossus Omos decided to quickly deal with the Dirty Dogs, and that’s exactly what they did. Phenomenal kicked off the match by immediately tagging his giant partner, leaving Omos to bust Dolph Ziggler and Robert Rod before Stiles returns to pin Ziggler after a brutal Phenomenal forearm.
Bobby Lashley, def. Rey Mysterio
While Dominic Mysterio watched carefully, his father went out of his way against “Almighty” Bobby Lashley in the main event of Raw. Lashley placed a Hurt Lock on Rey to defeat Master 619 and free him so his son could take care of him.
The match result sparked interest from WWE spokesman Adam Pearce, who quickly announced that Rey Mysterio would be replaced in Raw’s Survivor Series. After Austin’s Theory emerged to hit Dominic with his ATL, Peirce’s decision was made as he named Theory to the Survivor Series instead of Mysterio.
