US Champion Damian Priest def. Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy got another shot at Damian Priest’s US Championship, and it was another crazy match between the two. The Charismatic Riddle climbed the top rope and planted the Sventon bomb on the Priest. It looks like Hardy won the title, but The Archer Of Infamy gave up the pins attempt, turning it into a roll-up to get the score at three and retain his title.
After the fight, Hardy delivered an emotional message to the WWE Universe until Austin’s Theory burst onto the stage pretending to be a huge fan. However, he had ulterior motives and launched a furious attack on the legendary Hardy to make a splash on his first night on Raw.
Shaina Basler def. Dana Brooke
The evil Shayna Basler quickly dealt with another opponent, defeating Dana Brook with his patented Kirifuda submission. The Queen of Spades undoubtedly wanted to do even more damage after the match, until Doodrop showed up to rescue Brooke and save her from possible injury.
Angel Garza and Umberto Carrillo def. Mansour and Mustafa Ali
The all-new team of cousins, Angel Garza and Umberto Carrillo, were hoping for another big win, and they did it at the expense of Mansour and Mustafa Ali. After some further misunderstanding between Mansour and Ali, the handsome young duo went a little tricky to win when Carrillo pounded Ali into the ring stance with his head, allowing Garza to win.
Big E & Drew McIntyre def. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Rood
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Rood were brave enough to interrupt Drew McIntyre and Big E right after the Scottish Warrior challenged the reigning champion to a WWE Championship match, triggering this impromptu team battle. The Dirty Dawgs were in control, but A and McIntyre eventually turned things around when McIntyre contacted Claymore in his former partner Ziggler for a win.
After the match, the WWE champion accepted the Scottish Warrior’s challenge for a title fight at the WWE Crown Jewel.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH def. Natalia and Tamina
Natalia and Tamina had their highly anticipated rematch for the WWE Women’s Team Championship, but Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH were more than ready for the challenge. It was a physical battle all over, and the end came when Nightmare nailed Tamina with his Riptide and forced Almost Superhero to climb onto her shoulders to generate a big splash to keep the championship gold.
Goldberg and Bobby Lashley set the stage for WWE Crown Jewel
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg returned to Raw with one goal: to get Bobby Lashley one-on-one into the ring. The Almighty didn’t oblige him tonight, but he agreed to fight Goldberg at the WWE Crown Jewel in a match without rules. Goldberg was delighted with the opportunity, so much so that when Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander tried to jump on him from behind, he easily turned the table over and knocked Benjamin down with a crushing spear to send a message to the Almighty.
New day def. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin
The rivalry resumed when Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods from The New Day took part in the battle against Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander of The Hurt Business. After Goldberg weakened Alexander and Benjamin, The New Day took advantage and sealed the deal when Woods took off from the top rope and punched Alexander with a large elbow drop to win.
After returning to Monday Night Raw, The Street Profits arrived after the match to celebrate New Day associated with SmackDown.
Bianca Belair def. Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Fleur by Disqualification
The massive main event ended Night 2 of the WWE Draft as “EST of WWE” Bianca Belair met “Queen” Charlotte Flair. The match justified the hype as the two former members of the main evening of WrestleMania lost, but the end came when SmackDown women’s champion Becky Lynch walked off the announcement table to attack Belair.
As Man was eager to do more damage to EST, Sasha Banks stepped into the ring to make sure this night belonged to The Boss as she laid out both of her future WWE opponents Crown Jewel, as Raw concluded.
