Samoa Joe stuns NXT Universe with return to black-and-gold brand
[ad_1]
Samoa Joe returned to NXT and is already making his presence felt.
Joe returned to the black and gold brand in stunning fashion on Tuesday night, interrupting performances by NXT champion Carrion Cross and William Regal. Cross made fun of the NXT CEO until he met Joe.
While the former NXT champion said he couldn’t accept Regal’s offer to take over as CEO, he was happy to offer his services in a different way: as an assistant who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.
We didn’t have to wait long to see how practical Joe would prove to be in this new capacity. When an uncontrollable hand-to-hand fight broke out between Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole behind the scenes, Joe blocked Cole with a shell rock grip, putting him to sleep.
Needless to say, Joe’s shocking return to his old tops has sparked the WWE and NXT universe.
Tick-tock really. https://t.co/h9kyEXozVS
