After Becky Lynch’s unexpected return at SummerSlam, The Man returned to SmackDown. The new SmackDown women’s champion did not apologize for her rather “behind-the-scenes” tactics in an impromptu match against Bianca Belair, which saw her regaining the blue brand title.
Although former titleholder Belair showed up without excuses to offer a rematch, Zelena Vega, Carmella, and Liv Morgan soon presented rival arguments as to why everyone should challenge the Man. When Lynch decided to leave rather than settle things right away, the remaining superstars decided to fight each other in a moment of general chaos.
Bianca Belair won the right to fight Becky Lynch in a fatal four-man elimination match
Bianca Belair beat Liv Morgan, Carmella and Zelena Vega to earn the right to challenge Becky Lynch for the women’s SmackDown title in a hot, impromptu Fatal 4-Way elimination match. After Belair eliminated Vega with KODand Morgan eliminated Carmella by first throwing her face into the canvas, WWE’s EST defeated Liv with a second KOD to cement her rematch with The Man.
