Tamina and Natalia def. Nia Jax and Shayna Basler – WWE Women’s Title Match
Tamina and Natalya stepped out with a determination to end the dominance of dominant Nia Jax and Shaina Bazler in a rematch at WrestleMania. An irresistible Force delivered Tamina’s déjà vu with another Samoan crash on the barricades, but the Lard Queen helped the challengers fight back. After another Samoan Drop to Natalya, Tamina entered the battle with Superfly Splash, which brought a shocking victory.
Big E, Sami Zane, and Kevin Owens wreak havoc at Apollo Crews Medal Awards
When the Apollo Crews attempted to present the Nigerian Medal of Honor to Commander Aziz, his fiercest Intercontinental title contenders wreaked havoc on the scene.
Rey Mysterio def. Dolph Ziggler
Just two days before the SmackDown Tag match at WrestleMania Backlash, Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler traveled to it in hopes of making one final statement. A controversial near-below-belt hit on a slide from The Master of 619 angered Robert Rood, but The Showoff recovered and nearly triumphed with Famouser. Nonetheless, Rey followed his son Dominic’s lead from last week and caught Ziggler off guard with a quick win.
Bianca Belair and Bailey wage a war of words
King Corbin def. Shinsuke Nakamura
In the battle royale, King Corbin used his power to reign supreme as the King of Strong Style. After an acrobatic U-turn allowed Shinsuke Nakmura to fix the triangle, Corbin punched the pins, resulting in the victory. Nakamura was far from over as Kinshasa knocked down Corbin and allowed the Strong Style King to steal his rival’s favorite crown.
Cesaro def. Jimmy Uso on disqualification
Jimmy Uso wanted to make a statement after more than a year away from the square circle, but Cesaro had his own message. The Swiss Superman demonstrated his strength and athleticism with a cannonball that grounded Uso and a massive superplex that shook the ring. When Cesaro demonstrated his superiority, Roman Raines went into action, but his WrestleMania Backlash challenger had the final say, putting neutralizers back to back on Jay Uso to end the night.
