In front of NXT women’s champion Raquel Gonzalez Mercedes Martinez and Dakota Kai fighting on a swing. Martinez and Gonzalez eventually found themselves face to face on the outside arena and Martinez threw the champion straight from the right flank. Gonzalez responded to the ring with a massive boot, forcing him to be disqualified. But Martinez was anything but a winner as Big Mami Cool left her lying after a brutal attack.

Zach Gibson and James Drake came to Capitol Wrestling Center to claim their NXT Tag Team Championship opportunity against MSK, but were instead defeated by the hard-hitting team of Tommaso Champa and Timothy Thatcher, who are also watching the titles.

It’s clear that Tony Storm still wasn’t upset about her hurt defeat to Zoe Stark at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, but was trying to set an example for upstart Zayda Ramir. Storm did so until Stark arrived after Storm had scolded her earlier, and Stark’s presence at the ring did not cause Storm to lose his attention. Ramier wisely seized the advantage, hitting the impressive Shooting Star and inflicting another disappointing defeat on the Storm.

Bronson Reed def. Austin Theory to qualify for the NXT North American title

With the help of the rest of The Way, Austin Theory appears to be on its way to victory after Bronson Reed ate a superkick from North American NXT champion Johnny Gargano outside the ring. The match turned into chaos when Dexter Loomis arrived in the ring looking at Indy Hartwell, who rejected him after Loomis allegedly sent flowers to Way’s rivals Shotzy Blackheart and Amber Moon.

Theory collided with Loomis, causing him to collapse outward, and moments later, Reed leveled the All Day tsunami, earning another hit to Johnny Gargano.

Imperium def. Killian Dayne and Drake Maverick

Marcel Bartel and Fabian Eichner did an excellent job of isolating Drake Maverick, but in the end, Killian Dayne was fed up enough to fight his way into the ring despite not being a legal entity. Later, Imperium seemed to be stuck in an external discord when Bartel ordered Alexander Wolfe to attack Dane – Wolfe’s former SAnitY associate – with a chair. Although Wolfe could not pull the trigger, he stopped Dane’s attack and Bartel sent the Belfast Beast into the stairs.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Bartel and Eichner planted a European bomb on Maverick to win.

Shotzy Blackheart and Amber Moon were unable to even take part in the scheduled match against Robert Stone Brand as Candice Leray and Indy Hartwell ambushed them brutally. The Way left the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions in tatters in the ring, setting the stage for next week’s Street Fight for titles.

Cole also reached out to NXT champion Carrion Cross, questioning Cross’s resilience at the top of the black and gold brand. Finally, The Panama City Playboy has promised that NXT will soon see “the best damn Adam Cole ever seen.”

NXT Heavyweight Champion Kushida and his NXT Tag Team teammates showed impressive synergy until the fight took a brutal turn thanks to Santos Escobar, who brought down the NXT’s resident Time Splitter across the call table. Back in the ring, Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza also hit MSK, though Wes Lee and Nash Carter refused to stay put.

Kushida appears to have made the mistake of refusing to receive medical attention in the ring as Escobar benefited from installing Phantom Driver on him, while Wilde and Mendoza defeated Carter with a powerful two-team attack to earn a pin.
