Sarray def. Mandy Rose from Count-Out
In the midst of a fierce NXT debut contest, Surrey inflicted the second of two devastating dropkicks on Mandy Rose, causing her opponent to suffer a clear facial injury when she knocked her out of the ring. When Gigi Dolin and Jaycee Jane ran up to Rose and led her to the end, Surrey was victorious.
Kyle O’Reilly, def. Duke Hudson
After an altercation with Duke Hudson last week, already attacked by Ridge Holland, Kyle O’Reilly was determined to get retaliation, even though he was clearly taped and clearly not 100 percent.
For most of the competition, Hudson was able to aim for Kyle’s injured ribs as he delivered brutal punches to his staunch foe. However, O’Reilly caught his enemy’s leg with the ropes in the final minutes, preparing him to jump from the top rope onto his back on his opponent’s knee before blocking Hudson’s leg and forcing him to tap.
Triumphant Ilya Dragunov proclaimed: Long live the Tsar!
After completing WALTER’s historic reign at TakeOver 36, new NXT UK champion Ilya Dragunov returned to NXT feeling more alive than ever before. Promising to return, the Mad Russian made a powerful statement: “The General of the Ring has fallen, long live the Tsar!”
Imperium def. Drake Maverick and Grayson Waller
A unique pair of Drake Maverick and Grayson Waller teamed up to battle the enraged duo of Imperium’s Marcel Barthel and Fabian Eichner, who were eager to impose their will.
Despite their rage, the determined Maverick was able to hold back both superstars at a crucial moment in the competition. However, when Waller made the mistake of tagging himself and ruining his partner’s momentum, the Imperium took charge. After Bartel threw Drake into the unforgiving steel outside the ring, he jumped off the second rope that Eichner was holding Waller on and delivered a crushing European pinch uppercut.
LA Knight def. Johnny Gargano
Whether or not Johnny Gargano wanted In-Dec to accompany him into the ring against the LA Knight, it cannot be denied that both Dexter Loomis and Indy Hartwell were there … well, more or less.
However, in the final moments of the explosive duel, Loomis’ attempt to show his affection by lending a helping hand to Johnny Wrestling backfired, and Knight was able to use this distraction to defeat BFT.
Raquel Gonzalez def. Jesse Kamea
Even with Frankie Monet and Robert Stone causing concern with their presence, Jesse Kamea was unable to defeat Raquel Gonzalez when the NXT Women’s Champion shot her down with a One Arm Power Bomb.
As the smoke cleared, the victorious titleholder gazed down at Frankie Monet in the center of the ring.
Roderick Strong def. Ikemen Jiro
Together with the members of Diamond Mine, Ikemen Jiro tried to defend his idol Kushida, answering an open challenge from Roderick Strong.
However, despite his noble motives, Strong brutally turned his opponent over on the steel steps. He then ultimately took a vicious victory with a couple of groundbreaking renegades to send Kushida a message that he was coming for the NXT heavyweight title.
Tommaso Champa def. Ridge Holland
Under the supervision of Pete Dunn, Uni Lorcan and Danny Birch, Tommaso Champa went to war on Ridge Holland in the main event of the NXT. In a tough fight from start to finish, an apron battle in the final moments resulted in Champa hitting his knees before bringing Holland back into the ring with Willow’s Bell for three counts.
Before Champa could catch his breath, however, The BruiserWeight, Lorcan and Birch entered the ring and launched a post-match attack. This squared the NXT Tag Team Champions MSK to level the playing field. After unloading on Lorcan & Burch, Dunn and Holland decided to live until the next day, and Champa and MSK were on their feet when NXT went off the air.
