Tony Storm def. Zoe Stark
The up-and-coming Zoe Stark delved deeper into her already impressive repertoire, using a wide range of attacks to control much of the action. And while Stark shockingly kicked out after Storm Zero, Tony Storm surpassed Stark, pushing her rival out after a unique, previously unseen maneuver.
Jake Atlas, def. Cameron Grimes thanks to Ted DiBiase’s distraction
Everyone has their own price for a Man in a Million – even the financially wealthy Cameron Grimes. Ted DiBiase walked into the Capitol Wrestling Center and immediately turned Grimes on. DiBiase’s mere presence came at a cost to the Tech Savage, and Jake Atlas surprised him with a unique pinning to three combo.
Killian Dayne defended. Alexander Wolf
The former SAnitY teammates finally grappled with each other, although Alexander Wolfe again seemed hesitant to use the chair for Killian Dane and paid dearly for it, being pinned down after a massive crossbody from The Beast of Belfast. But a much worse fate awaited Wolfe, as comrades from the Imperium Marcel Bartel and Fabian Eichner were unhappy with Wolfe’s refusal to carry out the plan, brutally attacking him.
Legado del Fantasma def. Tommaso Champa and Timothy Thatcher
The ruthless duo of Tommaso Champa and Timothy Thatcher dominated the fight, yielding to their usual strong attacks, but the presence of the Gray Young Veterans in the ring proved to be a decisive factor. Zach Gibson and James Drake attacked Champa from the outside, leaving him a sit-down duck for Raul Mendoza’s enziguri-leg combination.
Sarray def. Aliya
Sun Warrior turned her heads again, returning to battle, this time destroying Robert Stone’s Aliya Brenda. NXT superstar bougie didn’t respond to Surrey’s massive drops, and she met her end when she was folded down with a percussion suplex.
Hit Row def. Tony Nese and Aria Daivari
After talking about the big game last week, Hit Row confirmed their words in the ring this week. The super-fast Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Top Dolla at 6-5 330 pounds turned out to be an impressive team, and Top Dolla sent Daivari into a spanking after a unique suplex.
Bronson Reid def. Johnny Gargano in a steel cage match for the NXT North American title
The longest reign of the title in NXT ended after the Tsunami that shook the cells.
Bronson Reed needed to earn every bit of his championship moment, and Austin’s Theory was a constant distraction from the outside and even intervened several times to keep Reed out of his cage. Johnny Gargano did his best to try and save his gold by using Reed’s lever against him with a terrific energy bomb from the top rope as Reed tried to climb the cage.
The Champion also planted The Colossal Superstar with a devastating poison wound and a modified One Final Beat DDT, but that wasn’t enough to hold Reed back. Fighting off Theory, Reed slammed the cage door before leveling Gargano with Tsunami and claiming the champion title.
