Amber Moon had set out to allay her frustration with the NXT rookie, but Kay Lee Rae kicked off the evening with a declared win. Moon tried to postpone the smart toss match, but Kei Li Rae backtracked to earn the victory with the KLR Bomb.
Santos Escobar def. Carmelo Hayes
Santos Escobar did not appreciate Carmelo Hayes’ appearance in the North American NXT title market and decided to get his message across. The winner of the NXT Breakout Tournament showed his high athletic style early, but leader Legado used Electra Lopez’s stunning punch to seal the win.
Brutus and Julius Creed def. Chucky Viola and Paxton Averill
Beware of NXT; Diamond Mine just made a BIG addition. The Creed Brothers demonstrated their intimidating power with a dominant display of punches, suplexes and clashes en route to an impressive victory over Chucky Viola and Paxton Averill.
Io Shirai and Zoe Stark won. Casey Catanzaro and Kayden Carter – Women’s NXT Title Match
Chemistry or Craftsmanship? The match for the NXT Women’s Team Title was a real challenge for centuries of debate. Io Shirai tried to hold out alone for long stretches of the match and kept control. Casey Catanzaro and Kaidan Carter took advantage of the divisions between the champions to almost full advantage, but Genius of the Sky secured the victory with an incredible lunar storm. After the match, Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin and Jaycee Jane came out to launch a surprise attack, placing the title holders at the top of the stage.
Mei Yin def. Virginia Ferry
Fear is real, and Mei Ying has brought it to life for the NXT Universe. Terrifying leader Tian Sha made a brutal in-ring debut with a performance that silenced her rival and Capitol Wrestling Center.
MSK def. Danny Burch and Onei Lorcan – NXT Tag Team Title Match
Danny Birch and Uni Lorcan hoped to reclaim what they believed was rightfully theirs, while MSK was reluctant to give up the gold. Nash Lee and Wes Carter played acrobatic shows, but the former champions drove them to the mat with a couple of painful holds. The MSKs took off again, and an aerial lunar attack allowed them to retain their titles and left Birch and Lorcan ready for a shocking attack by Pete Dunn and Ridge Holland.
