Grayson Waller was ready to step into the jungle, but Roderick Strong showed again why he leads the NXT Cruiserweight food chain. The rookie nearly won the title with his thrilling acrobatics that almost shook Diamond Mine. Veteran Strong got the final answer as the champion caught Waller with a running knee to retain the title.
Kyle O’Reilly, def. Ridge Holland
The power of Ridge Holland was fully demonstrated, but Kyle O’Reilly’s ingenuity was the deciding factor. When Pete Dunn tried to intervene, O’Reilly dodged danger and rolled a bruise out of Yorkshire for victory. As Dunn and Holland tried to allay post-match disappointments, von Wagner rushed in to help O’Reilly level the playing field.
Raquel Gonzalez def. Frankie Monet – NXT Women’s Title Match
Frankie Monet didn’t turn down the opportunity to become champion, but Raquel Gonzalez proved once again why her title was unbreakable. While La Vera Loka talked about bullshit throughout the match, Big Mami Cool waited patiently and hit Chingona Bomba to keep the championship. The fireworks are far from over, as a disappointed Poison Attraction has leveled the two competitors, allowing Mandy Rose to rise above the rubble for a serious performance.
