WWE Champion Big E def. Dolph Ziggler – No Title Match
WWE Champion Big E took this straight to Dolph Ziggler, despite a few cheap tricks from his Dirty Dawgs partner Robert Rood, who was hiding out in the ring.
The former friends knew each other’s movements well when they exchanged blows. As the Powerhouse of Positivity rolled, Ziggler slipped out and dodged a lance to the apron with his knee to the face.
Ziggler took advantage of the debut with a famous player, but was able to keep the Champion only for two. Climbing the ropes to strike across the body, Big E grabbed Ziggler in the air and staged a Grand Finale for victory. After that, Roode stormed the ring to attack Big E, but when he wanted to deliver Glorious DDT everything changed and Big E equalized Roode with another Big Ending.
Bianca Belair def. Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan gave Bianca Belair everything she could, much to the surprise of the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
The two superstars shared taunts in a spirited competition. Morgan kept Belair on his toes and avoided WWE’s EST power with some creative counter and vaulting, as well as a powerful enzuigiri boost.
As Morgan lunged for the hurricane from the second rope, Belair caught her and threw Morgan into the lanyard before lifting her up for KOD and the hairpin. After the match, Belair and Morgan shook hands and hugged each other in respect.
WWE universal champion Roman Reigns, def. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura
Table head Roman Tsarstv was not a fan of Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura or his partner Rick Bugs’ musical style.
Spurred on by a guitar soundtrack, Nakamura momentarily stunned the versatile WWE champion, but the Reigns quickly pulled themselves together with a thunderous clothesline.
As Raines prepared to play Superman Punch, Bugs began slicing his guitar to bring Nakamura back to life, and dealt a crushing blow to the head. The Boogs continued to play to get Nakamura up on Kinshasha until The Bloodline ended the concert with a surprise attack.
Nakamura went to rescue his companion, but left himself open to Superman’s kick outside the ring before he was rolled back into a square circle for a crushing spear.
